Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with WSH laws, codes of practice, and internal safety procedures.
- Enforce risk control measures and safe work procedures on-site.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
- Review and assess Risk Assessments (RAs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Permit-To-Work (PTW) systems.
- Identify hazards and propose corrective/preventive measures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction programs for workers and subcontractors.
- Promote safety awareness and best practices through campaigns and training sessions.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, inspection checklists, and other regulatory documentation.
- Submit monthly safety reports and incident investigation findings to management and relevant authorities when required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
- Must be a Registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
- Valid MOM-recognized WSHO License.
- Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC)
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, in construction
- Strong knowledge of WSH Act, Risk Management Code of Practice, and other related regulations.
- Able to handle emergency and high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
