We’re seeking a marketing professional who doesn’t just post content, but builds movement and traction.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a strategic and creative marketing expert who can grow our social media presence, generate warm leads, and build a powerful online brand that speaks to both students and their parents. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands digital funnels, and knows how to convert traction into action. You will work 3 days a week in a hybrid setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
Create, schedule, and post engaging content (feed, reels, carousels, stories) across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. - Content Strategy & Storyhooks:
Develop scroll-stopping hooks that speak directly to the aspirations, frustrations, and goals of our student and parent audiences. - Full-Funnel Execution:
Plan and execute a full-funnel strategy—from awareness to conversion—using organic and paid social media campaigns. - Lead Generation:
Design and run lead generation initiatives using social media CTAs, landing pages, and engagement-based strategies. - Analytics & Reporting:
Track performance, iterate based on analytics, and constantly optimize for engagement and conversions. - Meetings & Communication:
Join team strategy calls, provide updates, and (when needed) represent marketing ideas clearly in meetings; Assist with live note-taking, follow-up actions, or content repurposing from calls (e.g. client testimonials, story angles, etc.) - Brand Voice & Messaging:
Understand and represent the Velox brand voice across all channels, ensuring consistency and trust.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and online communities
- Skilled in executing full-funnel digital marketing strategies that drive engagement and leads
- Proficient in Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong understanding of buyer psychology and high-converting content strategy
- Experienced in turning content into conversations and conversations into qualified leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with Canva, basic video editing, and scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Later)
- Strategic thinker and self-starter with a bias toward execution Bonus: Familiarity with the education/edtech sector or Gen Z/parent audiences

- Month-on-month growth in social followers and engagement
- Increase in warm leads from campaigns
- Clear improvement in brand voice and storytelling Smooth coordination with our sales and admissions team
