Description & Requirements

The Opportunity
As part of the Group Finance team, you will report to the Senior Manager – Group Finance. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Verify and process vendor invoices to ensure that expenditures are recorded and payment processed timely.
- Work closely with internal/external parties on supplier's payment enquiries
- Handling of GL entries on ad-hoc basis
- Review and reconcile supplier/intercompany statements to purchase ledger balances; liaise with internal/external parties to verify discrepancies identified
- Preparation of audit schedules
- Preparation of monthly cashflow
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest suitable enhancements
- Process & payment for staff claims
- Participate in quarterly/annual stock take as required
- Assist with ad-hoc duties when assigned
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, preferably 2 - 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Fast learner, ability to work independently and within given deadlines
- Great teammate with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, focused and committed to do your best
- Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality
- Strong in MS Office application, specifically in MS Excel skills
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics will be an added advantage
