Responsibilities:
1. Participate in systems thinking and integrated design processes
2. Design components of buildings using 2D and 3D software
3. Operate 3D printers and manage digital fabrication processes
4. Understand and work with a variety of manufacturing methods
5. Apply a strong grasp of materiality in design decisions
6. Assist in the assembly of building components, both in-lab and on-site
7. Be ready for deployment missions, including field installations and testing
Requirements:
1. Education: ITE, Diploma, or Degree in one of the following fields:
- Architecture
- Architectural Technology
- Industrial Design
2. Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, Revit, Fusion360, etc.)
3. Comfortable with prototyping and physical model-making
4. Strong interest in fabrication, materials, and how things are made
5. Hands-on attitude, with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
6. Willingness to travel for site-based work and installation missions
