Work Location: Toa Payoh
The Assistant Cook will assist the Cook and is responsible for cooking in the Cook's absence.
- Plan the menu.
- Marketing - responsible for doing the daily marketing within the budget.
- Boil water for making morning tea breaks.
- Prepare ingredients and cook for lunch.
- Washing daily used towels, utensils, and cookware.
- Responsible for drying and storing all towels, utensils, and cookware in designated areas.
- Wash the sink inside the kitchen, the kitchen floor, and clean the stove and kitchen cabinets.
- Responsible for washing the kitchen area and the store daily.
- Clear rubbish in the kitchen.
- Sort and pack any food donations in the kitchen store or refrigerators.
- Any relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
