The NTU University Advancement Office (UAO) supports the University’s giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research.
The Assistant Director, Prospect Development Analyst presents intelligence and analysis to support the NTU’s fundraising and engagement priorities. The position holder will be responsible for delivering high quality and insightful prospect research profiles and analysis, in line with best practice, while managing the research process. This will enable fundraisers to engage successfully with individuals, trusts, foundations and companies. The position plays a crucial role in supporting the University fundraising and engagement strategies, including pipeline management, to achieve the University’s fundraising goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect identification and qualification
- Prospect analysis and reporting
- Database and information management
- Collaboration with Fundraising Team on profiles and due diligence
- Strategic research planning
- Ensure compliance and ethics in research
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- At least 8 years of working experience, preferably in fundraising sector with prospect research exposure.
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector and fundraising.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Strong ethical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
