Why This Role Is Valuable

Revantage APAC is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in the Transaction Support team based in the Singapore Office. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Transaction Support for Asia-Pacific in Singapore, the candidate will be responsible for partnering with Blackstone on deal execution across acquisitions, dispositions and other transaction related matters including deal onboarding and ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on deal execution support, deal onboarding, and post-closing deal management
  • Assist in the engagement with due diligence (e.g. Financial) advisors and review of due diligence reports, findings and recommendations
  • Review transaction documents (SPA, Term Sheets, Escrow Agreements) for acquisition and disposition activities
  • Manage the establishment of Investment Structure’s (SPV’s), including bank accounts and FX lines
  • Prepare funds flow files for deal closing (acquisition and dispositions) and coordination with Treasury teams on fund transfers and FX settlement
  • Prepare and review completion accounts and relevant post-closing acquisition accounting journals
  • Prepare and review funds capitalization files and documents
  • Coordinate and lead post-closing deal onboarding (including finance related handover documents) with various stakeholders
  • Ad hoc tasks, analyses and projects as and when required

Skills:

  • Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience, ideally including time in a Big Four accounting firm or financial institution. Experience with transactions advisory / execution support highly regarded.
  • Effective communication across various functions and offices globally to influence diverse stakeholders across regions
  • Strong analytical skill, with ability to work with large data sets, synthesizing information from diverse data to draw logical conclusions and communicate insightful analysis; results orientated and eye for detail
  • Highly self-motivated and able to effectively work and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Proven coordination experience, highly organized with ability to hold stakeholders accountable
  • Quick learner with the ability to quickly turnaround ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and business-level proficiency in Japanese is required
