Intro:
Global Capital Markets is dedicated to the administration of loans, project finance, securitization, escrow, covered bonds, property trusts and REITs. We provide corporate trustee and agency as well as SPV administration services to the international capital markets in the capacity of trustee, security agent, paying agent, escrow agent, facility agent and corporate services provider.
We are responsible for managing loans, bonds, escrows as well as restructuring of distressed debt. We interact closely with capital providers (funds, banks, family offices etc), lawyers and financial advisers and review and agree documentation. Each situation is unique and requires sound knowledge of the capital markets.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
The transaction management group is dedicated to deal execution and documentation review in accordance with agreed procedures and policies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join the team with a specific focus on supporting loan agency mandates. The ideal candidate will be involved in day-to-day deal management, loan servicing, documentation handling and client coordination, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the initial set-up and ongoing management of a portfolio of loan agency and trust related transactions to ensure that the duties and obligations required as an agent and/or trustee are promptly fulfilled or discharged professionally.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of day-to-day operations for loan-related tasks including handling of fund flows, rollover notices, interest and fee calculations, monitoring of covenants and communicating with syndicate of lenders and borrowers.
- Ensure all on-going statutory, legal and transactional obligations of client structures are met and practicing good corporate governance throughout.
- Assist the team in formulating and implementing procedures and policies in relation to operational efficiency and quality of service delivery.
- Support the coordination with external counsel, client, nominee director to manage documentation deliverables
- Liaise with internal teams locally and globally, such as Accounting & Payment Processing team, Finance, and Client Onboarding to ensure smooth execution and servicing of transactions.
- Handle various administrative tasks for the team, including document management, system updates, maintenance of deal administration file and billings Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in banking, loan administration or trust & agency experience highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, (e.g., Excel- using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
- Detail oriented, diligent, strong team-player and ability to work independently.
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills are required to support the management of multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Chinese).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Legal, Banking and Finance
