[What the role is]
The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department is responsible for engaging, seeking, and exploring new opportunities with stakeholders from the public, private and people sectors.As Manager (Engagement), you will support stakeholder engagement efforts within NAC by implementing the NAC Engagement Framework and corresponding strategies, taking reference from ministry-level frameworks and guidance.
You will assist in coordinating engagement activities within NAC by providing support to relevant departments/teams in their engagement efforts, including stakeholder mapping, planning of engagement sessions, monitoring, tracking and reporting of engagement outcomes. This will also include championing the adoption, administration and management of NAC’s stakeholder repository systems.
You will also support NAC-level engagement efforts in alignment with agency, ministry- or national-level campaigns and exercises.
[What you will be working on]
What you will be working on:
- Coordinating and driving NAC-wide engagement efforts, including participation in WOG/MCCY led engagement initiatives.
- Provide advisory support to NAC departments embarking on engagements, including identification of stakeholders.
- Keeping a pulse and working closely with departments in managing hot-button issues to proactively plan, scope and conduct engagements.
- Driving the growth of engagement competencies across the Council through identifying courses, opportunities and platforms to be exposed to, learn and practice engagement and facilitation skills.
- Advocate for NAC-wide adoption of the engagement stakeholder management system, and any future editions of engagement stakeholder management system.
- Oversee NAC’s continued participation and support of the ongoing participation and partnership in agency, ministry family or national-level campaign exercises.

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in partnership management or stakeholder engagement.
- Articulate and strong in both verbal and written communications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the organisation.
- Comfortable working with, collating and updating databases, excel sheets, datasets and numbers.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft software including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
