JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily calibration of coffee
- Prepare specialty coffee and beverages according to SOP recipes and standards
- Provide both team and guests with information for coffee-related enquiries
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels (Coffee beans, ingredients for beverages…etc)
- Day to day operation including (Performing cashiering duties, food prep including sandwiches)
- Cultivate & maintain relationships with regular guests & team members
- Perform general housekeeping including upkeeping of coffee machine
- Experience in latte art is a plus point
- Suggest marketing promotions, come up with new drink concoctions
- Participate in marketing efforts (including helping to take pictures, videos and come up with fun taglines)
- Participation in team meetings, brainstorming sessions to ensure cohesive team dynamics and to improve products and services
REQUIREMENTS
- Good communications skills - finds joy in connecting with colleagues and customers.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Knowledge in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and general coffee brewing methods.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene practices.
- Willingness to teach and share professional knowledge with the team.
- Trustworthy, impartial & maintain a high level of discipline & punctuality.
