About the role
-
Support the school’s enrolment targets and positioning in Singapore by driving the execution and fulfillment of the school’s
marketing initiatives, campaigns, promotions and events. -
Support the effective planning and execution of internal communications and events and with parents, staff and other
key stakeholders to consistently share the school’s vision and values.
What you will be doing:
Strategic and Tactical Marketing
-
Support the development and implementation of the school’s marketing strategy in positioning, growth and new
opportunities. - Assist with regular monitoring, tracking, market research and analysis of the marketing mix
-
Align marketing with brand, writing style, key messaging guidelines, ensuring compelling and consistent voice /
style across all marketing materials and channels. -
Implement marketing and promotional activity for the school (including events, digital marketing, social media,
advertising, PR, etc) -
Support with the organization and promotion of school-led events such as Playgroups and Open Houses,
- Support with organization of external marketing events such as School Fairs, Exhibitions and events .
- Maintain, manage and ensure the content for school’s website and social media channels are up-to-date.
Content Creation / Production of collateral\
- Write compelling marketing content, accentuating true-life in the school

Develop and manage the production of key external marketing collaterals including but not limited to school
prospectus and direct marketing initiatives.

Support academic staff in turning content for school-teacher-family communication (e.g. school announcements,
presentations, etc) into a proof-read, formatted, “parent-ready” versions.

Coordinate the school’s campus and digital signage needs.
- Implement a rotation plan in line with the calendar of events and liaise with internal departments to execute.

Provide support for the school’s Year Book project including briefing vendor, design critique, staff templates,
collation and follow-up of content, proofing, delivery to a strict timeline, cost control.

Develop and implement style guides and templates for all internal communications covering digital and nondigital
channels.
Budget tracking and review
-
Assist with the management of marketing and communications spend and ensure activities are planned and
executed within agreed budgets.

Support the Head of Marketing and Admissions by reviewing spend and mix to drive towards efficiency and
efficacy.
Communications and Community Relations
-
Support proactive engagement between the school, teachers and parents and the effective and efficient
implementation of all ‘’touch points’’ for frequent and on-going communications.

Collaborate with IT team to make messages and communications accessible on the school parent portal
-
Liaise with future Parents’ Association representatives, cultural groups, and academic, leadership and admission
teams to facilitate communication between various departments and groups
-
Provide support to the Academic Team in the execution of internal school events and partnership opportunities,
including supporting internal stakeholder involvement. -
Provide photography support for school events for internal use and maintains the school’s (digital) library of
communication resources and images.
Who we are looking for:

Well-developed communications, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others.

Excellent writing and editing skills including an ability to create and adapt tone of voice relevant to the audience whilst
working within an overarching corporate style.

Ability to manage CMS platforms and UX/UI of the Enquiry to Classroom customer journey experience.
-
Native-level English speaker is essential.

Experienced in managing creative agencies and vendors will be an advantage.

Experienced in managing multiple high priority tasks in a fast paced, highly demanding ‘start-up’ environment

Ability to work independently yet promote and participate enthusiastically to the wider team.

Adaptable and willing to take on a range of tasks, including occasionally outside scope of work, as directed by the
Head of Marketing and Admissions

Act as a key custodian of the Brighton College brand, vision and values in all external and internal communications,
and promote this with other stakeholders -
Degree level qualification in marketing, communication or related field
-
A minimum of three years marketing, communication and events experience
-
Copywriting and / or graphic design experience an advantage.

Proficiency with software programs required to manage functions of the role.
- Awareness of commercial sensitivity and demands for confidentiality
