We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at Octomate. This role offers the opportunity to start as a contract/temporary hire, with the strong potential to be converted to a full-time role within 3–6 months , based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business users and Product Owners to understand processes and gather requirements
- Perform detailed requirements analysis and contribute to solution design
- Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure clear and actionable user stories
- Conduct functional testing and coordinate user acceptance tests
- Provide user training as part of project delivery
- Offer operational support by recommending solutions to end-user issues
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication, with strong technical writing ability
- Keen understanding of user needs and interest in software delivery
Preferred
- Experience or knowledge in test automation tools
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, agile working environment
- Strong team player with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
