Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven B2B Business Development Executive / Senior / Manager to join our team in the fragrance manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying potential B2B customers, and managing key accounts. This role will involve generating new leads, negotiating contracts, and ensuring long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities within the B2B space, including large retailers, department stores, e-commerce platforms, and fragrance wholesalers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals. Develop strategies for lead generation through various marketing channels.
- Develop and present tailored proposals to potential clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by actively pursuing new business and managing existing accounts.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Serve as the main point of contact for all business development and account-related needs.
- Provide high-level customer service and after-sales support, ensuring smooth implementation and order fulfilment.
- Collaborate with key clients to co-develop marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns to increase sales and brand visibility.
- Monitor the fragrance industry and analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track sales progress, and report on business development activities to senior management.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for business development initiatives.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align B2B strategies and ensure product offerings meet customer demands.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within the fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG industries.
- A solid understanding of the fragrance manufacturing process, fragrance families, and trends in the beauty and luxury industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English / Chinese is required. Additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic) are a plus, depending on the markets targeted.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a focus on providing value to clients and partners.
- Strong ability to drive sales and close deals while managing multiple client accounts.
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively, offering solutions that benefit both the company and the client.
