Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive will support the brand’s growth by assisting in identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships, expanding market reach, and enhancing sales channel performance. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering relationships to achieve business goals.
You will also be responsible for:
1. Strategic Partnerships
- Research and identify potential partnership opportunities that align with the brand’s objectives.
- Assist in negotiating and managing partnerships with complementary brands and organizations.
- Coordinate co-marketing and cross-selling initiatives to maximize value for all parties.
2. Market Expansion
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to enter new markets and customer segments.
- Assist in expanding the brand’s footprint in international markets, including exploring export opportunities.
3. Sales Channel Development
- Build and maintain relationships with retail and distribution partners to optimize sales and visibility.
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to identify opportunities and improve direct-to-consumer (D2C) performance.
4. Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns aimed at attracting and retaining customers.
- Support loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer engagement.
5. Corporate Sales & B2B Opportunities
- Assist in developing partnerships for corporate gifting and bulk orders.
- Coordinate customized solutions for business clients to drive sales growth.
6. Market Research & Insights
- Conduct market research to gather insights into competitive landscapes and customer behavior.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to support business growth strategies.
7. Revenue Growth
- Contribute to the development of strategies to increase revenue across all sales channels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute promotional strategies and pricing models.
8. Relationship Management
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including retail partners and distributors.
- Ensure timely support and alignment with partners’ needs and brand objectives.
9. Brand Representation
- Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events.
- Prepare presentations and materials for potential partners and stakeholders.
10. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall brand goals.
- Act as a point of contact for external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
We would want to speak with you if you are / have –
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from market data.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience working with sustainability-focused or innovative consumer brands.
- Familiarity with retail and e-commerce markets in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Proven success in supporting customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth initiatives.
