Job Description
- Providing regular update to regional commercial teams on the status of relevant product development projects.
- Coordination of the deployment of tools and related training of regional commercial teams when new products are launched or new / updated applications information is released.
- Be a key member in the creation, execution and monitoring of regional initiatives to achieve defined objectives including setting of KPI’s, defining analytics and prioritization of those initiatives linked to BTSO’s and other core business strategies.
- Undertake business and market analysis to understand the dynamics affecting the region and support quarterly forecasting report outs. Examples:
- Market share gain/loss of current product offerings, key customers and industry segments.
- Analyzing sales and pipeline trends by sales channels and product line.
- Significant changes in technology trends or competitor activities within the region.
- Where applicable, monitoring direct vs distribution sales trend by channel partner and product line.
Work with the Marketing Communications partners to develop and deploy an annual communications plan that includes:
- Regional budget
- Participation in trade shows and conferences.
- Region wide customer seminars and training
- Promotion of new products and services
- Selling tools to facilitate product sales through regional sales channels (direct and distribution).
- Other regular messaging in support of regional priorities and other business objectives (ie. BTSO's).
- Using the Atlas CRM system, monitor key regional opportunities and look for ways to accelerate advancements leveraging company resources (Leadership, Prod Mgt., R&D, etc...)
- Provide day to day support to commercial teams for product related information, technical needs, customer questions and escalation of any issues affecting regional business performance (including R&D Service Requests and Tech Transfers).
- Contribute to the identification of new business development opportunities using market knowledge and input from commersial teams, customers, consortia and others. Recommend investments where appropriate including acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and licensing.
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
- Familiarity with the electronic assembly industry is a must
- Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of working time.
- Thorough understanding of the Company’s products and procedures.
- Possess well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Address inquiries and resolve problems by using appropriate resources/other departments to achieve results/answers.
