The Chef plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of hawker brands.
Responsibilities:
- In-charge of cooking
- Assist in kitchen operations
- Manage / supervise all activities of all cook and other kitchen assistant.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking according to the establishment’s standard recipes and operating procedures.
- Ensure food quality and customer satisfaction
- Upkeep hygiene and safety of kitchen
- Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner
- Suggest new promotion ideas and ways to improve
- Control wastage and manage food cost to ensure profitability
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored appropriately
- Ensure compliance with SFA standards
- Provide counter service, when needed

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Chef/ Outlet Chef with Chinese cuisines
- Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
- Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a coffeeshop/ foodcourt environment
- Team player
