The Role
UFIT is seeking a visionary and performance-driven CEO to lead the business into its next phase of growth and holistic health and fitness innovation. The CEO will oversee all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the company, working closely with the Board, Senior Management Team, and business unit leaders.
You will be a hands-on, commercially driven business leader and responsible for driving the company toward its financial and strategic goals, deepening brand presence in Singapore, and scaling the business via corporate, digital, and franchise channels. You will work closely with the Board to drive value creation, optimize existing assets, and prepare the business for future growth investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Own and evolve the long-term business strategy and business plan in alignment with UFIT’s mission, vision, and Circle of Care model.
- Lead the company to strong financial growth, with a focus on margin expansion, operational efficiency, and sustainable scale.
- Identify and execute opportunities for expansion, including new markets, padel and wellness ventures, franchise/licensing models, and digital services.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Oversee the group’s financial health, P&L management, and quarterly targets.
- Ensure the successful execution of initiatives to achieve our financial objectives (e.g. fitness profitability, corporate scale-up, margin control).
- Lead the team to drive accountability and performance across the Health, Fitness, Corporate and Sports verticals.
- Drive company-wide cost effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Take a hands-on approach to working capital management alongside the finance team
- Oversee effective use of current real estate assets and track and enhance occupancy rates in line with targets.
Brand & Market Positioning
- Serve as the primary brand ambassador for UFIT, representing the company to shareholders, partners, clients, and the broader wellness community.
- Evolve UFIT’s product offerings to support lifetime client value, including memberships, digital coaching, bundled services, and wellness content.
Strengthen market perception as a leader in healthspan, preventive care, and integrated wellness.
Team & Culture
- Inspire and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of 120+ employees.
- Uphold UFIT’s core values of Collaboration, Integrity, Empathy, Excellence, Empowerment across all touchpoints.
- Coach the SMT and functional leaders to drive leadership growth and internal succession.
Governance & Stakeholder Relations
- Report to the Board with clear insights into financial performance, risks, and strategic plans.
- Maintain strong shareholder, partner, and contractor relationships, particularly around financing, leases, and joint ventures.
- Champion audit compliance, legal governance, and capital structuring for future readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a C-suite or senior leadership role (COO, MD, or CEO), preferably in wellness, fitness, healthtech, or multi-site service businesses.
- Track record of achieving financial growth, driving profitability, and executing strategic pivots.
- Strong commercial acumen — able to balance performance metrics with brand integrity.
- Experience scaling business lines in physical and digital models, ideally across multiple geographies.
- Demonstrated strength in people leadership, with a passion for mentorship and culture-building.
- Deep understanding of consumer health trends, lifestyle medicine, and the evolving wellness economy.
- Experience in franchise/licensing, JV partnerships, or private equity environments is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
