Job Title: Cloud Wintel Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Availability: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and support:
AWS : VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, security remediation, Glass panel
Azure Cloud platforms - Integrate AWS VPC and Cloud with external systems
- Administer and support:
Windows Server 2008 to 2019 (Standard/Enterprise)
Domain setup , backup/restore , upgrades
Patch and security management
Application setup, configuration, and bulk deployments - Coordinate hardware replacement and server activities
- Conduct monthly and ad-hoc patching (Windows, ESXi, Linux)
- Administer third-party tools (e.g., Third Sight)
Required Skills & Experience
- VMware / ESXi administration (expert level)
- MS Hyper-V administration
- SFTP , Active Directory (AD) , DNS , PKI , IIS , and MS Cluster
- .NET and IIS administration
- Microsoft SharePoint (basic knowledge)
- NetBackup and storage systems (basic knowledge)
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes
- Proficient in server health checks , antivirus updates , and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with:
Asset checking, tagging, and management
Documentation and reporting (including MS Excel )
Onsite support and coordination with vendors/customers/team - Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willing to work onsite at the customer location
