Roles & Responsibilities
Roles & Resposiblities :
- To carry out underwater operations such as underwater inspection, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, blanking, etc. of vessels and barges as delegated by the Diving Supervisor.
- Able to use brush kart, CCTV & underwater digital cameras
- Maintain diving equipment and report any defects / malfunctions to the Operations Department.
- Assist with diving boat operations (mooring to vessel, routine cleaning etc)
- Immediately report any recent medical treatments or any symptoms of DCS to the Diving Supervisor.
- Ensure that the diving equipment is adequate and in good operating condition.
- Analyze equipment records & reports to validate their compliance with Company & IMCA/SS511 standards.
- Diving compliance in accordance with SS511 & Company codes and HSE standards.
- Act as the standby diver when instructed to do so and to assist in the training of new tenders/divers.
Above are core duties of the Employee and Company reserve the right from time to time at its discretion to enhance or reduce above duties. You will be required to perform the duties of the position in which you have been engaged and any other duties that you may be required to perform from time to time. You will comply with the orders and instructions given by the company through the duly authorized person(s).
Report to : Diving Supervisor / Diving Superintendent
Salary: Up to $6,500 (depending on experience)
Requirements :
- Must be physically fit
- Possesses a valid Commercial Diving qualification recognized by WSHC and Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) (CDAS)
- Ensure Valid approved medical Medical certificates and Diving qualifications are kept up to date.
- Possesses a valid diving/occupational first aid certificate
- Good team player, hardworking, positive mindset and ability to multi task.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $2,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
