Job Summary
Discovery Genomics is the research service arm for Mirxes. We utilize cutting-edge technologies and algorithms to deliver high quality data and analyses to our clients and partners.
We are seeking an experienced commercial operations personnel who has good experience with maintaining customer communications and work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate a positive customer experience. The role demands a person with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task while working under pressure.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support business unit on all SAP-related matters including but not limited to business partner management, order creations, inter-co transactions and pricelist managements
- Work closely with projects team to coordinate project completion and billing, and help in resolving any billing discrepancy to ensure timely capture of topline
- Liaise with external departments such as manufacturing, supply chain and finance on customer support and operational requirements
- Interact with customers to complete customer onboarding process for new customers and handle queries on shipment, handling, logistics
- Review and update customer-facing materials and commercial operational SOPs
- Receive and direct customer feedback to appropriate stakeholders so that services can be improved
- Perform any other reasonable duties or ad-hoc assignments as directed by line manager/ supervisor
- In the discharge of your duties, you shall observe and comply with all regulations and directions from time to time made by the Company or given to you and use your best skills and endeavors to further the business and interests of the Company
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Minimum diploma or higher or equivalent qualification
- Preferably 1 year of experience working in the genomics, molecular biology, or molecular genetics arenas
- Strong proficiency in written and oral English
- Possesses logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with varied personalities
- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure highly desired
- Highly motivated and adaptable to ever-changing client needs and expectations
