Volunteer Management (Volunteer Coordinator)
- Identify and address volunteer needs through effective recruitment, coordination, training, and retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with established volunteer policies and procedures
- Design, implement, and oversee the Senior Volunteerism Programme
- Provide support for the Volunteer Leadership Programme
- Plan and organize volunteer recognition and engagement activities
- Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement, including developing and executing outreach events and initiatives to promote volunteerism
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate volunteer initiatives
- Review and assess volunteer management practices and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Community Relations & Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders, such as grassroots organizations, corporations, and educational institutions
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to implement community engagement projects
- Develop and manage communication strategies to support community engagement initiatives
- Support fundraising efforts and donor engagement activities
Administrative Duties
- Maintain and update volunteer and stakeholder databases
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and funding for volunteer and community engagement projects Provide secretariat support for staff meetings and prepare necessary reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Preferably possess an Advanced/Higher Certificate in Community & Social Services or a related field
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent certification Comfortable and empathetic in working with senior citizens
