Our client is a venture capital fund with a strong track record in the region. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a Compliance officer and the role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with regulators on regulatory requirements and compliance filing
- Manage and update the firm’s compliance policies and framework
- Work with other teams on KYC/AML review on investors, CRS/FATCA filing
- Keep track of new regulatory development and provide updates to the firm
- Identify any potential compliance issues and provide solutions to the business
- Update and advise the management on compliance issue and ensure the firm is in line with the regulatory standard and requirements
- Provide compliance training and updates to the firm’s employees
- Participate in compliance projects when necessary
Skills / experience requirements
- At least three years of Compliance experience in Fund / Asset Management industry
- Exposure Venture Capital / Private Equity industry is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or other tertiary qualification
- Strong understanding of regulatory framework
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Meticulous, diligent, motivated
