Role Overview
We are seeking a Compliance Surveillance Specialist to support the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Department. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective trade monitoring, market surveillance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily trade and market surveillance to detect irregularities, potential market abuse, or breaches of trading rules.
- Support investigations into suspicious trading activities and escalate issues where required.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to MAS regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
- Contribute to the enhancement of surveillance systems, controls, and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in trading compliance or derivatives trading surveillance is essential.
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and exchange trading rules.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex trading data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
