Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the head chef in preparing Chinese confinement dishes.
· Manage kitchen operations, food quality, and daily inventory.
· Ensure food hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards are met.
· Help with menu planning, cost control, and recipe development.
· Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with SOPs.
· Support daily purchasing and check the quality of ingredients.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chinese cuisine; confinement experience preferred.
· Good knowledge of Chinese herbs and confinement practices.
· Able to work independently and lead a kitchen team.
· Familiar with food safety standards (e.g. HACCP).
· Able to work 6 days a week.
· Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
