Key Responsibilities
- Site Management : Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Team Coordination : Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Quality Control : Monitor construction quality and ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance : Enforce safety regulations and protocols on-site, conducting safety briefings and ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety practices.
- Progress Reporting : Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and any incidents or delays. Report to the Project Manager on project status and any challenges faced.
- Material Management : Oversee the delivery and use of materials on-site, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained.
- Problem Solving : Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, including conflicts between trades, delays, and resource shortages.
- Communication : Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in Singapore.
- Technical Skills : Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is essential.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site.
- Safety Awareness : Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
