Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and variation orders.
- Assist in tender preparation, including calling for quotations, evaluating submissions, and compiling bid documentation.
- Monitor and track contract compliance, timelines, and deliverables.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of contracts and correspondence.
- Support project teams in handling contractual claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and cost variation matters.
- Assist in drafting of letters, notices, and other contractual correspondence.
- Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and progress claims verification.
- Assist in procurement activities and support negotiation efforts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including BCA and MOM compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in contract administration within the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiar with local construction contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA, or FIDIC (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management tools.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently under pressure.
