Job purpose:
A Business Manager in the Corporate Clients segment
- provides business management, administration and/or infrastructure services for the management of his executive area and/or the segment in his specific area of expertise, also on a project basis. He supports and drives the development of the Corporate Clients segment and ensures regulatory compliance of the Asian Branches. The focus is on services without revenue responsibility for his executive area and/or the segment: improvement of cost, revenue, capital and risk efficiency, process optimization and project management, infrastructure planning and implementation and consulting of the management team.
- He/She uses product, process, IT and/or subject-specific knowledge and experience to drive segment development and the implementation of cross-segment and cross-functional initiatives. In addition, he/she takes on corresponding line activities and supports activities in the respective area
Key activities:
- Building and maintaining a reliable and open working relationship within his executive division and segment, as well as with other divisions of the bank and/or external clients to always ensure efficiency and support
- Ensuring an adequate infrastructure, including cross-divisional coordination, support or initiation of new business activities and initiatives
- Independent taking over and control of relevant strategic and operative topics including, if necessary, further conception, coordination, commissioning, implementation, status tracking and reporting
- General support of the management of his executive area as well as the segment by e. g.
- Creation of analyses and reports (KPIs/KRIs) for senior management
- Targeted information transfer inside and outside of his executive area
- Pre-/post-calculation of business cases for responsible topics as well as development of decision templates and presentations for SBM, GVS, committees, etc.
- Coordination, preparation and follow-up of management meetings
- Participation in (sub) projects, possibly cross-departmental and bank-wide projects, Coordinate local regulatory projects including global/local alignment.
- Participation in the preparation / implementation / management of project or committees, also in cooperation with other units
- Participation in the optimization of processes, structures and control instruments
- Provide other ad-hoc support where required.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across the bank to ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Act strictly in line with all internal & external laws, policies and guidelines, e.g. ComWerte, Culture of Integrity, Code of Conduct, etc.
Formal education:
- University Degree
or
- Apprenticeship (e. g. Bank clerk/Bankkaufmann), supplemented by job qualification in the banking industry
Supplemented by
- additional qualifications in the form of a job-integrated study program (e. g. Berufsakademie or university)
