Job Description:
We are looking for a Sheet Metal Costing Engineer to join our team. The role involves estimating costs for sheet metal parts and assemblies, analyzing drawings, selecting materials and processes, and working closely with design, procurement, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for sheet metal components
- Analyze 2D/3D drawings and technical specifications
- Select materials and manufacturing processes
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing
- Support design and cost reduction initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Proficient in CAD and Excel Good communication and analytical skills
