Position Overview:
We are seeking a Singapore MOE/NIE-trained educator with subject expertise in Primary 5 & 6 Mathematics to serve as a Curriculum Developer. This role focuses on enhancing our current curriculum to better engage high-ability learners, integrating online methodologies, and providing structured training for educators through our Train-the-Trainer programs.
Key Responsibilities:1. Curriculum Design & Enhancement
- Revise and enrich our current P5 & P6 Mathematics curriculum to support high-ability students.
- Ensure all materials are rigorously aligned with Singapore MOE standards and pedagogical frameworks.
2. Online Curriculum Development
- Adapt curriculum for online teaching, developing engaging e-learning content, interactive activities, and digital assessments using MOE-aligned tools and platforms.
3. Scheme of Work (SOW) Creation
- Design detailed SOWs for both physical and online classroom formats, incorporating clear learning objectives, lesson pacing, assessment plans, and pedagogical strategies.
4. Educator Training
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer workshops for internal tutors and trainers to ensure smooth curriculum implementation and teaching consistency.
- Coach trainers on best practices from the MOE system and modern instructional techniques.
5. Assessment & Supplementary Materials
- Develop formative and summative assessments aligned with MOE testing guidelines.
- Produce additional resources such as practice papers, enrichment tasks, and differentiated materials to support learner needs.
Requirements:
- MOE/NIE-trained teacher with hands-on experience in the Singapore Primary Mathematics curriculum (P5 & P6 preferred).
- Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design for primary-level mathematics.
- Familiarity with MOE teaching methodologies and online learning platforms.
- Proven ability to conduct educator training or professional development workshops.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and within deadlines.
