Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcoming customers, presenting menus, and seating them at appropriate tables.
Taking Orders: Accurately recording food and beverage requests, potentially using POS systems or memorization.
Serving Food and Drinks: Delivering orders to tables, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
Providing Excellent Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, making recommendations, and handling special requests or complaints.
Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Setting tables, clearing used dishes, and restocking supplies.
Handling Payments: Presenting bills, processing payments (cash or credit card), and providing change.
Collaborating with Kitchen Staff: Relaying orders and ensuring smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Upselling: Suggesting additional items or specials to increase sales.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Assisting with general cleaning tasks in the dining area.
