Job Overview :
The Development Executive will manage the administrative processes involved in the follow up with potential donors (prospects) and partners; process lead generation and onboard accounts for individual and corporate donor-advised funds.
The Development Executive provides support for the Legacy Giving Initiative, as well as outreach and engagement.
This position is a contract position for maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering online and phone-call enquiries.
- Support an active pipeline of prospects, through research and tracking.
- Perform basic background checks on prospects and partners (KYD).
- Generate and follow up on fund establishment documentation for new donors.
- Provide logistical and secretariat support for meetings and events (online and offline).
- Prepare and track expenses and vendor payments.
- Create PowerPoint presentation slides.
- Prepare content pipelines and support in developing resources, stories and content.
- Prepare management reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Diploma or Degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant qualifications.
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years in finance, administrative and other client support roles will be a plus.
- Meticulous with an eye for details and confident working with numbers. Comfortable working on digital and IT based platforms on daily basis.
- Excellent administrative skills in areas of co-ordination between multiple parties and multi-tasking with a proven ability to produce results in a highly deadline-oriented environment.
- Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
- Strong writing and communication skills. with the ability to interpret donor needs.
- High competency in the use of PowerPoint tools and Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage confidently with high net worth individuals.
- Proactive and adaptable; able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams, to accomplish joint tasks and common objectives.
- Brings a positive attitude and a genuine sense of joy and purpose to working with donors and making a difference to the community.
