About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale Analytics Workbench initiative under our client engagement.
The project aims to build and manage a collaborative analytics platform powered by Databricks, integrating AI, ML, BI, and data engineering capabilities. The role requires strong expertise in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD automation, with a proven ability to collaborate across data and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery across multiple applications.
- Manage and optimize artifact repositories (JFrog, Nexus) for build and release management.
- Support deployment and operations of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm .
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems and develop automation scripts in Shell/Python .
- Manage infrastructure on AWS Cloud (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring).
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and application teams to ensure smooth DevOps practices.
- Ensure system resilience, high availability, and proactive issue resolution across multiple layers.
- Implement best practices in DevOps, cloud security, and observability.
- Document processes, maintain runbooks, and support knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise-scale environments.
- Proficiency in CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Expertise in artifact repository management (JFrog, Nexus).
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET .
- Strong containerization knowledge ( Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, EKS ).
- Experience in AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management (AWS certification is a plus).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for multi-layered systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Team-player mindset with focus on knowledge sharing and process improvement.
