Job Description:
Stag Match Institute (SMI) is seeking a highly independent, strategic, and collaborative Director of Programs & Continuing Education to lead a portfolio of academic and professional training programs. This leadership role combines business development, academic oversight, and sales responsibilities, with a strong focus on cultivating partnerships across the Continuing Education and Training (CET) sector and the broader Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) ecosystem in Singapore.
The successful candidate will drive curriculum relevance, enrollment growth, and strategic stakeholder engagement—ensuring our offerings meet the evolving needs of adult learners, career switchers, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Program Management (CET & IHL Focus):
- Provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of programs aligned with CET frameworks and IHL initiatives.
- Oversee curriculum development and program delivery, ensuring modularity, stackability, and alignment with industry trends.
- Lead and mentor academic teams, ensuring high teaching standards and CET-compliant methodologies.
- Ensure all programs meet accreditation, compliance, and SkillsFuture requirements.
- Monitor student performance, support career and academic pathways, and recognize prior learning (RPL) where applicable.
- Develop and manage budgets to support academic and partnership goals.
- Establish strong ties with industry, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), CET providers, and IHLs to ensure program relevance and collaboration.
Sales, Business Development & Enrollment Growth:
- Drive enrollment across the program portfolio with a focus on CET learners and working professionals.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships with organizations and training providers.
- Represent the institute at events, roadshows, and industry engagements to promote programs and strengthen networks.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to create targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and client presentations tailored to CET audiences and funding schemes (e.g., SkillsFuture).
- Track enrollment metrics, analyze learner profiles, and continuously refine recruitment strategies.
- Develop alumni engagement initiatives to build a strong, supportive graduate network.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in higher education, academic leadership, or program management.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore CET landscape, SkillsFuture initiatives, and adult learning principles.
- Proven track record in curriculum development and program alignment with CET goals.
- Sales-driven with experience in business development or education sales.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders from industry, government, and educational sectors.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
