Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians and manage all aspects of facilities operations and M&E services across assigned properties.
- Plan and assign daily tasks, ensuring performance standards and service quality are met.
- Develop and implement maintenance programmes for building infrastructure, Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) and M&E plant and equipment.
- Monitor and report on repair works, renovations, and equipment replacement, and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.
- Prepare and review tender specifications for M&E works.
- Support the preparation of estimates for repair works, invitation for quotations, recommendations of award.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality of services, compliance and adherence to safety procedures and equipment standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors on maintenance and compliance matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or equivalent, with minimum 4 years of relevant experience in hotels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organisational skills, coupled with ability to work independently and in a team.
