Job Description
Will take part in formal and on-the-job training programs. Will perform work assignments that are related to onshore, offshore and marine risk and safety, under the direct supervision of an experienced engineer. Work assignments are designated to familiarize the incumbent with the Company’s business, policies, methods and procedures for delivery to Client.
Job Duties/Roles
Performs and supports risk and safety studies for onshore, offshore and marine projects, as assigned, for compliance with applicable Rules, Regulations and contract commitments.
Performs analysis with specialized software with guidance from Senior Engineers.
Assists in the development of proposed solutions to Client with respect to study findings as determined by needs and for projects assigned.
Prepares written, technically accurate and timely responses to emails from clients or other technical groups.
Drafts technically accurate reports detailing the results of various studies performed for review by a senior Engineer.
Prepares accurate and timely weekly reports and requests for invoices on all work performed.
Participates in related training seminars.
Scribe in workshops and meetings
Undergoes ABS Quality System training and applies the TQM principle in the work environment.
Communicates the status of the current workload to all appropriate members of the organization’s team to insure the needs of the clients will be met.

Required/Preferred Education Requirements
An ongoing Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent in an appropriate technical discipline. Chemical Engineering (preferred)
