We are looking for a reliable and hands-on electric vehicle (EV) Charging Officer to help manage the electric vehicle charging facilities at PUB WaterHub. You will be responsible for moving vehicles, operating the chargers, monitoring charging, and making sure the EV charging facilities are used properly and kept in good working order.
Responsibilities
- Be stationed at the building carpark daily to oversee EV charging operations.
- Start EV charging sessions for vehicles
- Monitor charging status (State of Charge) of vehicles and move them when charging is completed to free up the lot.
- Park vehicles in the allocated charging bays according to the charging schedule.
- Prevent bay hogging by ensuring vehicles are shifted once fully charged.
- Perform basic checks and troubleshooting on EV chargers (training will be provided).
- Use the automated scheduler system to carry out charging plans.
- Ensure that vehicles are parked at the allocated lots for overnight charging.
- Carry out basic cleaning of vehicle exteriors and interiors as required.
- Report issues, faults, or damage promptly to the Reporting Officer.
- Carry out any other related duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Class 3 Driving License.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.
- Comfortable operating mobile apps to start/end charging sessions (training provided).
- Basic understanding of equipment troubleshooting (training provided).
- Able to follow schedules and instructions closely.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a carpark environment.
- Punctual, responsible, and willing to do hands-on work.
The working hours are:
- Mondays - Thursdays 7.30am to 6.30pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Fridays 7.30am to 11.30am (1 hour lunch break)
