Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and customer support of EV charging infrastructure through regular site visits, real-time monitoring, and coordination with vendors and service teams.
Key duties include:
- Site Inspections & Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure chargers meet safety, cleanliness, branding, and operational standards. - Serviceability & Maintenance:
Perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure charger uptime and usability. - Real-Time Monitoring & Issue Management:
Monitor backend systems for faults or outages, address minor on-site issues, and escalate complex problems to technical teams or OEMs. - Performance Reporting & Analytics:
Track usage, downtime, and energy data; generate performance reports; and recommend improvements based on analytics. - Vendor & Partner Coordination:
Liaise with OEMs, maintenance vendors, and service providers to ensure SLA compliance and efficient operations. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate logs of site visits, inspections, and maintenance activities; submit regular operational reports. - Customer Support (Level 2):
Handle escalated user issues related to charging, payments, or equipment, and support field teams in customer interactions.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in EV charging infrastructure operations, energy systems, or facility management preferred.
- Basic understanding of network connectivity, backend monitoring tools, and IoT-based systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable with tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operations dashboards.
- Travel site to site to check on EV Charger condition and maintain serviceability.
