Job Description
We’re looking for an Events Marketing Manager who is passionate about the Wise mission – money without borders. You’ll be a part of the Wise Platform team, leading the most impactful projects and programmes of work in order to expand our growing list of global partners, helping us deliver world class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers across the APAC region. This role is based in our Singapore office.
Wise Platform is one of the product teams at Wise which empowers banks, fintechs and enterprises to build global payments solutions through their own channels. We’ve launched partnerships globally, with the likes of Standard Chartered, Google Pay, Aspire, Shinhan Bank, Agoda and Bank Mandiri, and today have 70+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform.
What’s the role?
The Wise Platform team has seen significant growth in the last few years, boasting a number of well-known household brands as partners. To help accelerate this growth, we’re now looking for our first events marketing hire to build, execute and scale out our events; driving clear and attributable revenue and impact in the region.
Day-to-day, your primary focus will be to lead Wise Platform's regional event marketing activities for APAC, supporting the team on running large-scale in-house and third-party events; assisting partners in their GTM plans and campaigns to grow our joint impact. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Enablement, Product, Design, PR and other teams to drive top of the funnel and ongoing engagement with partners at different stages of the sales cycle. Your efforts will directly impact our revenue growth by enabling our commercial teams to sell more, better and faster
Your Mission:
Event Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and own the event calendar aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives, focusing on lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and brand awareness within the B2B payments sector.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend key third-party industry events, conferences, and trade shows for participation.
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute proprietary in-house events (e.g., webinars, executive roundtables, customer forums, product launches, partner launches) from ideation to post-event follow-up.
End-to-End Event Logistics & Execution:
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation and management (e.g., booth builders, AV, catering, promotional items), registration platforms, and attendee communications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Executive Leadership) to secure speakers, content, and participation.
- Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage booth design, setup, and teardown for trade shows.
- Ensure seamless on-site execution, acting as the primary point of contact for all event-related matters.
Lead Management & Reporting:
- Implement and own, pre-event registrations, lead capture and follow-up processes in collaboration with the Sales Enablement and Revenue Operations teams.
- Track, analyze, and report on event performance against defined KPIs (e.g., leads generated, pipeline influenced, attendance, engagement).
- Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure event objectives are met and sales teams are fully enabled for pre- and post-event activities.
- Train and brief sales teams on event objectives, messaging, and lead qualification processes.
Qualifications
You'll be a great fit if:

- You have strong experience in owning events end to end (conceptualizing events strategy, planning, execution, post-events analysis)
- You’re a confident communicator able to speak to colleagues and partners with conviction and clarity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strive to have a customer-first mindset.
- Experience working in financial services: payments, banking or B2B solutions targeting banks and enterprise partners
- Self-starter and impact-driven: you enjoy taking ownership of projects with limited oversight. You thrive more on autonomy than structure. You’re not afraid to take responsibility and ownership of your work. You come ready equipped with perseverance and a sizable sense of humour.
- Quick learner and problem solver with a strong analytical mindset and eager to learn and develop with a passion for using data to improve campaign performance.
Desirable Skills:
- Native/Expert proficiency in a second language
- Experience in using HubSpot
- Experience working in an international organization
