Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Information Technology, APAC to lead and manage all aspects of IT strategy and operations across our rapidly growing Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore and reporting directly to the CIO, this critical role will support approximately 160 employees across diverse sites, including a key manufacturing facility and multiple distribution centers in Singapore, India, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Australia.
The Senior IT Manager, APAC will be instrumental in ensuring that our IT systems and services are robust, secure, efficient, and strategically aligned with both global IT standards and regional business objectives. This leader will be responsible for overseeing regional IT infrastructure, business applications (including SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM), IT support services, and leading key IT projects, all while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Strategic IT Leadership & Planning:
- Collaborate with regional business stakeholders and global IT leadership to define, implement, and evolve the IT strategy for APAC, ensuring alignment of hardware, software, and services with current and future business requirements and growth goals.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the regional IT architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration with global systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the APAC IT landscape, leveraging new technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and industry best practices, regularly updating the regional IT team and business leaders on potential impacts and opportunities.

IT Operations & Service Management:
- Oversee the efficient delivery of IT support services across the APAC region, including meticulous management of IT onboarding (e.g., laptop issuance, IT orientation) and offboarding processes (e.g., equipment return).
- Ensure the effective management, tracking, and safeguarding of all IT assets across the APAC region.
- Provide expert guidance and support for critical enterprise systems, particularly SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM, ensuring their optimal performance, data integrity, and alignment with regional business processes, especially for the manufacturing site and distribution centers.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate regional IT security risks, implementing robust measures to protect Repligen's data, systems, and intellectual property.
- Design and conduct regular IT security education and awareness programs for APAC employees, ensuring strict compliance with global IT policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead regional IT audit efforts to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.

Vendor & Financial Management:
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and ongoing management of IT vendors and service providers across the APAC region, optimizing cost-effectiveness while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage the regional IT budget, ensuring prudent expenditure, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to financial targets.

Project & Program Leadership:
- Lead and manage diverse IT projects within the APAC region from initiation through successful completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined business objectives.
- Act as the key APAC IT representative and liaison for global IT initiatives and programs.

Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present clear, concise executive reports and ad-hoc analyses on IT performance, project status, security posture, and strategic initiatives to the CIO and regional business leadership.
- Foster strong communication channels and collaborative relationships within the regional IT team, with other global IT functions, and across all business units in APAC.
Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications1 (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity overseeing IT operations for a multi-country region, preferably within APAC.
- Proven experience supporting a diverse user base, including critical environments such as manufacturing sites and distribution centers.
- Strong functional and technical understanding of enterprise systems, particularly extensive experience with SAP (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM).

- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure management, network principles, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in IT service management (ITSM) principles and frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively2 with stakeholders at all levels across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proven project and program management capabilities with a successful track record of leading and delivering complex IT initiatives.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving value.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically within the APAC region as required.
