We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Operation Assistant to support the planning and execution of events from concept to completion. The Events Operation Assistant will play a vital role in coordinating logistics, communicating with vendors and attendees, and ensuring all aspects of an event run smoothly. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, corporate functions, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Support the Events Manager with logistics such as venue setup, equipment rentals, catering, signage, and transportation.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of event needs.
- Coordinate registration, guest lists, RSVPs, and on-site check-ins.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing event materials, managing schedules, and tracking expenses.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist in post-event evaluation, including gathering feedback and preparing reports.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and event regulations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support preferred but we welcome applicants with no prior experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of event management tools is a plus.
