Our client is looking for a Portuguese-speaking, enthusiastic and friendly Event Ambassador to join our team for an upcoming maritime trade show. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Work hours:
1 - 3 July - 9.00am to 6.00pm
Attire and details:
⁃ Attire (TBC, provided by client)
⁃ Covered formal flats/heels
⁃ Make up required
Job responsibilities:
⁃ Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival.
⁃ Checking names against the guest list and managing RSVPs.
⁃ Providing directions and answering questions about the trade show.
⁃ Distributing programs, materials, or gift bags (if applicable).
⁃ Escorting guests to their seats or tables.
⁃ Coordinating with event staff and vendors (e.g., catering, audiovisual, running errands).
⁃ Simple housekeeping to keep the booth clean and tidy
⁃ Ensuring guest comfort and addressing any concerns or issues.
⁃ Facilitating networking opportunities and encouraging mingling.
⁃ Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor throughout the event.
Job Types: Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 3 days
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
