Job Summary
Assist Head of Sourcing & Chartering in chartering vessels for edible oil trade
Roles & Responsibilities
- Chartering of ship and coordination between our factory supply and receiving chain.
- Contribute with insights on freight market information, providing necessary support to company’s traders.
- Manage post-fixture follow up, in coordination with Operations Department.
- Record keeping and data entry on fixtures concluded.
- Assist traders with daily trade entry
KPIs
- Daily update on vessel position (based on number of ships fixed).
- Daily update on trade entry (depends on traders requirement)
- Quarterly update on vessel performance , including demurrage and pending claims
- Monthly update on vessel performance. Monthly input on fixtures done in the market
Work experience requirement
Good working knowledge with minimum 4 years in chartering activities in edible oil shipment companies.
Qualification
Diploma/Degree in logistics or shipping related field
