The Role
Position Summary Statement
This role offers hands-on experience across recruitment, training, employee engagement, human resource administration, and other core human resource areas. The ideal candidate will work closely with department heads and external partners to ensure seamless human resource operations and contribute to a positive employee experience.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, raising hiring requisitions, sourcing and screening candidates, arranging interviews, and managing job offers and negotiations.
- Partner with department heads on manpower needs from hiring to offboarding, including offer letters, confirmations, and exit interviews. Organize and participate in recruitment-related activities such as career fairs, networking events, site visits, and campus recruitment initiatives.
2. Human Resource Operations & Administration
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external job advertisement portals.
- Oversee human resource administrative duties, including the maintenance of accurate employee records and documentation.
- Support policy implementation and ensure human resource practices align with statutory requirements and company policies. Assist in payroll-related matters and associate wage payments as required.
3. Training & Development
- Manage logistics and administration for both internal and external training programmes.
- Serve as the key point of contact for all course-related queries and coordination.
- Maintain accurate training records and update the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Administer training grants, internship coordination, and facilitate course registration and nominations. Prepare and present training reports for management and corporate stakeholders.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Coordinate welfare and recognition programmes such as Associate Referral Programmes, Retention Schemes, Recognition Awards, and Long Service Awards. Support the implementation of employee engagement activities and assist in human resource communications.
5. Work Pass Administration
- Manage the application, renewal, and cancellation of work passes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Performance Management Support
- Assist in the administration and tracking of performance appraisals, confirmation reviews, and related employee assessments.
7. CSR & External Partnerships
- Collaborate with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners on recruitment and internship opportunities.
8. Ad-Hoc Projects
- Undertake any other duties or assignments as directed by the Superior or other senior leaders.
Talent Profile
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the same industry
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act
- Customer-oriented (liase with internal and external customers)
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Resourceful, mature and result driven
