We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician Electrical (Lead) who responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of facilities and leads a team of other technicians.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out the electrical low voltage installation of Tap Off units, IPDUs for IT racks, lighting, power points, CEE form outlets and power cablings installation including cable termination, testing & commissioning.
- Carry out annual earthing & lightning protection system inspections and thermal scanning of the switch boards with supervision of LEW or authorised personal by LEW and prepare the thermal scanning report.
- Participate and assist the managers to carry out the 3 to 5 annual powers shut down maintenance or IST for the data centre.
- Perform in-house daily, weekly, monthly inspections and generator no load test.
- Perform the preventive maintenance for data centre air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, such as cooling Tower, Pumps, CRAH, Fan wall units, chilled water FCU, DX FCUs, condenser units, MV Fans, including washing of cooling tower, greasing of fans, bearings, motor, pumps and perform alignment & vibration checks.
- Respond to the BMS alarms and guide the on-duty ops technicians to reset the alarm.
- Update the asset list, MOPs, SOPs, daily, weekly and monthly inspections, space, power & cooling capacity reports and prepare the yearly & monthly maintenance schedules, facilities reports and service reports.

- Supervise the OEMs vendor during maintenance and perform due diligence on their work.
- Manage a minimum of 4 junior technicians and trained them to carry out the above-mentioned works.
Requirements:
- ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar education with minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in data centre or similar industry maintenance or construction.
