We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) who responsible maintaining and repairing the mechanical systems within the Data Centre.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out the air conditioning and mechanical ventilation fans installation of chilled water piping, fan coil units, CRAH units including testing & commissioning.
- Carry out control wiring and final power cabling installation for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
- Perform in-house daily, weekly, monthly inspections and generator no load test.
- Perform the preventive maintenance for data centre air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, such as cooling Tower, Pumps, CRAH, Fan wall units, chilled water FCU, DX FCUs, condenser units, MV Fans, including washing of cooling tower, greasing of fans, bearings, motor, pumps and perform alignment & vibration checks.
- Respond to the BMS alarms and guide the on-duty ops technicians to reset the alarm.
- Update the asset list, MOPs, SOPs, daily, weekly and monthly inspections, space, power & cooling capacity reports and prepare the yearly & monthly maintenance schedules, facilities reports and service reports.
Requirements:
- ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in data centre or similar industry maintenance or construction.
