Our client is a growing organisation in the FMCG and events sector , delivering large-scale experiences that inspire and engage audiences. To keep the magic running smoothly behind the scenes, we are looking for a Facilities Manager who can lead venue operations, ensure safety and compliance, and create spaces where events, exhibitions, and performances thrive.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be the backbone of daily operations while planning ahead for future growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily venue operations, including utilities, HVAC, lighting, security, and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems.
- Ensure timely response to breakdowns, repairs, and safety concerns.
- Manage asset inventory and lifecycle of key equipment (e.g. AV systems, seating, staging).
Venue Readiness & Event Support
- Coordinate facilities setup and teardown for performances, exhibitions, and external bookings.
- Ensure front-of-house, backstage, and visitor areas meet operational and presentation standards.
- Work closely with production and technical teams to support facilities needs during events.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations (BCA, SCDF, MOM) relating to workplace and public safety.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments (fire safety, emergency exits, accessibility).
- Maintain WSH documentation and coordinate emergency drills and response procedures.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage service providers for cleaning, security, repairs, and maintenance.
- Oversee contracts, budgets, and service levels to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
- Enforce safety protocols for contractors working on-site.
Budgeting & Strategic Planning
- Manage annual facilities budgets for utilities, contractors, and maintenance.
- Track cost efficiency and identify opportunities for sustainability and energy savings.
- Partner with leadership to optimise space usage and plan future venue enhancements, refurbishments, or upgrades.
- Develop SOPs for long-term facilities operations and scalability.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), facilities operations, and safety regulations.
- Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and budget oversight.
- Hands-on problem solver with strong crisis management skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, event-driven environments.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to balance daily operations and long-term planning.
