Job Info:
- Salary: Basic up to $3000 + AWS + VB
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hours)
- Location: Tuas (West Region) - Company transport pick up at Boon Lay mrt
Job Scope:
- Manage the upkeep and repair of buildings, equipment, and facilities to maintain safe and efficient operations
- Perform routine inspections to detect and resolve maintenance, repair, or improvement needs
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to carry out facility works, ensuring standards and deadlines are met
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations, and support audits or inspections as needed
- Organize office space planning activities, such as workstation setups, seating allocations, and small-scale renovations or refurbishments
- Oversee facility inventories including cleaning materials, maintenance tools, safety gear, and spare parts
- Manage the proper storage, use, and maintenance of facility equipment and tools to avoid damage, loss, or safety risks
- Address facility-related problems, incidents, or emergencies promptly to minimize operational disruptions
- Keep accurate records and documentation, such as maintenance logs, service reports, vendor agreements, permits, and compliance files
- Plan and oversee preventive and routine maintenance schedules
- Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenditure for facility operations and related services
- Supervise and coordinate outsourced staff like cleaners, security personnel, and maintenance contractors
- Support emergency preparedness activities including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and business continuity measures
- Conduct safety briefings and orientation sessions for new employees
- Administer security access control systems and protocols, ensuring surveillance and alarm systems function effectively
- Promote sustainability initiatives by implementing energy-saving measures, waste reduction practices, and other green efforts
Requirements:
- Diploma or Professional certification in Facility Management, Building Services, Engineering, or related field
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in facilities or building management
- Strong understanding of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance practices
