RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To lead the finance operations team, and to ensure finance operations is operating at an optimal level
- Provide financial related advice (budgetary/spending) to the management team with the aim to achieve financial targets.
- Monitor and review financial key performance indicators.
- Actively support the month-end closing activities by reviewing business portfolio draft P&L to ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition.
- Provide monthly management report and perform analysis on P&L variances against AOP.
- Support Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasting exercise.
- Monitor business portfolio receivables positions to ensure all invoices are paid within due dates.
- Provide business with advisory on accounting treatments, and operationalization of contracts within corporate accounting guidelines.
- Support business by providing interpretative guidance/ information on contract/ project financial management to determine the relevant requirements for contract structures setup & cost / revenue recognition per accounting standards.
- Strong contractual knowledge on the various accounts.
- Enhance internal controls and compliances according to corporate and financial policies.
- Conduct in house training related to updates on new site finance/corporate finance processes.
- Assist corporate finance team with external audit process in relation to project financials by providing supporting documents.
- Support corporate finance team for all financial/system related matters.
- Support or play a key role in operational system roll out which has relevant implication to finance process – project scope identification, think out-of-box solution to drive improvement in process efficiency, ensure robust UAT for system acceptance, subsequent change management to ensure successful endorsement of the system, post monitoring of system issues.
