Job Description
- Working as an Associate lawyer on legal documentation, communicate with clients and others involved in the case both in Japanese and English
- Provide legal advice to clients who are interested in investment or doing business in Japan
- Prepare and draft legal documents including Restructuring/Insolvency, Labor dispute and other necessary documents
- Perform legal research
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law Support clients in legal matters mainly for Japanese clients with Singapore lawyers
Job Requirements
- Experience in Banking, Finance and Securities Law
- As we have a large Japanese clientele base, we require a lawyer who can converse fluently in Japanese and possess a JLPT 1 written ability
- Qualfication as Japanese lawyer is required as the position needs to handle clients with familiarity in law and regulations especially in Japan jurisdiction
- 5-7 years of working experience in a top tier Japan law firm or equivalent
