Description
What You’ll Do
An experienced consulting professional with a broad understanding of different levels of a solution stack, diverse industries, and varied roles. A structured thinker and objective communicator who operates independently to deliver high-quality work products for engagements. Demonstrates a strong ability to empathize with customers and stakeholders needs, understanding their perspectives to tailor solutions effectively. Performs varied and complex duties requiring independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology, meeting customer objectives. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
Presales:
- Act as the solution architect during the presales process, understanding customer business requirements and translating them into effective Oracle solutions and implementation plan.
- Lead and contribute to the development of compelling technical proposals, solution architectures, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Conduct technical presentations of Oracle Products and Cloud services, highlighting their value proposition and differentiation.
- Collaborate with Oracle product and cloud service sales and engineering teams to define winning strategies and develop technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders within customer organizations and within Oracle.
- Stay abreast of the latest Oracle Cloud offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Estimate effort, timelines, and resources required for proposed solutions and commercials
Postsales:
- Provide project and/or technical leadership and guidance to project teams during the implementation solution sold.
- Lead the technical execution of implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
- Collaborate with Oracle engineering, support and product teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore delivery teams, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, and project plans.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and provide training to customer teams.
- Ensure adherence to Oracle methodologies and best practices for implementations.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues during the delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and accelerators.
Required Skills/Experience
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of experience in IT industry, with a significant focus on cloud solutions.
- 2-4 years of IT solutions presales experience.
- Technical generalist with proven track records of crossing between infrastructure and application implementations
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate structured thinking, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be a plus
- TOGAF or equivalent certification will be a plus
